ABOUT THE CYBERJEMS!
The CYBERJEMS are based out Villa Joseph Marie High School, an all-girls school in Holland, Pa. Our team’s mission is to provide positive STEM experiences that give young people, especially young women the skills, confidence, and resilience to build a better world.
TEAM HISTORY
The CyberJEMS is a rookie team from Villa Joseph Marie High School, an all-girls school in Holland, Pa. Our school offers a variety of STEM courses ( i.e. Introduction to Engineering, Civil Architecture and Design, and Introduction to Computer Science), but in order to compete in an after school robotics competition students had to travel all-boys school 10 miles away. Due to the challenges of traveling to a different school to participate and decreased excitement around the shared robotics program the opportunity to be on a robotics team was coming to a close.
Then in the fall of 2023 enthusiastic students and committed mentors came together to start a robotics team to compete in the 2023-2024 FIRST TECH CHALLENGE (FTC).
